a paris photo session with ANDREssa SALoMONe
Four seasons hotel paris & private yatch along the river seine Paris
Andressa, a tv presenter in Brazil, hired me as her Paris photographer for three straight days whilst in Paris to attend the Paris Fashion Week. She was mainly attending the Chanel fashion show. Even though we had a translator between us, our photo session went smoothly. We clicked. We liked each other. We worked as a team with some sign language in between, smiles and laughter. I met her family too. Awesome generous folks.
The first two days' photos session was shot at the Four Seasons Hotel in Paris. It was in a luxury suite two and a half size bigger than my shoe box apartment in central Paris. Everywhere were lush huge blooms in tall vases from the hotel itself and different brand names along with chocolate on tiered trays. And the balcony ushers one to the typical Paris rooftop and Eiffel Tower view. Splendid. And the third day was aboard a private yatch, equally splendid.
The first day was a getting ready photo session where Andressa and her mum were invited to the Chanel dinner. There were hair and makeup artists already present when I arrived, courtesy of Chanel to help them look all glam for the occasion.
The second day was a morning photo session where Andressa got ready to attend the Chanel fashion show at the Paris Grand Palais. We used the surroundings of the suite like the day before plus some fruit and macaroons as props.
And finally, the third day's photo session was shot on a private match (scroll down) with the most delicious food, taking us all on a scenic tour of Paris sailing slowly along the River Seine. I kept refusing the trays of food being offered to me by Andressa and her family was I was "working" but at the at of the photoshoot, I took some bites and boy oh boy, I wish I could doggy bag the rest of the leftovers home! They were that delicious!
I felt sad when we docked. It was time to say goodbye to Andressa and her family. I got emotionally attached to them. It's hard not to when you meet such warm hearted people like them despite the language barriers.
